It all started in 1961 when Stanley Tunks, Jeff's dad started Tunks & Son battery business 46 years ago. In 1998, Jeff and his mom, Edna changed the business name to Jeff Tunks Battery service, which is a wholesale battery business. In 2001, Jeff and Monica started Batteries Now, which is a retail battery business. In 2005 we sold Batteries Now to Busler Enterprise in Evansville located at Diamond Ave. & St. Joseph Ave. We have enlarged our showroom, offering new services. We have 14 full time employees, and are expanding our installation battery service in Dubois County. We are committed to providing quality service and will continue to serve our local community for many more years.
